Captain Up and Gamanza secure partnerships with Optimove
The CRM marketing solutions provider has announced partnerships with Captain Up and Gamanza Engage, two companies that specialize in gamification and player engagement platforms. As part of the deals, Optimove will bring its AI-orchestrated gamification capabilities to iGaming and sports betting operators that leverage its services. It aims to increase retention rates and deeper player engagement for Captain Up and Gamanza.
Caitlin Clark’s impact on WNBA betting
Optimove, a marketing technology firm, analyzed more than 15 million bets placed on 43 WNBA games in the month of May, including nine in which Clark and the Indiana Fever played. The firm found that Fever games generated an average 380% increase in the number of bets compared to a baseline game (a May 17 game between the Washington Mystics and Connecticut Sun).

Clark and the Hawkeyes attracted 540% more bets than other NCAA tournament games
Betting interest on women’s college basketball over the past two years, with Clark playing at Iowa, also increased significantly. Optimove, a market firm specializing in iGaming, released an analysis that found a “substantial boost” in betting on women’s basketball in March, especially games involving Clark and the Hawkeyes, which attracted 540% more bets than other NCAA tournament games.
